The Highlands Owls basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the visiting Edison Golden Bears to 60 in the Owls league victory on Tuesday.

The Owls now sport a 6-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Edison for a 5A Region IV District 27 contest on Tuesday, December 19. Highlands will battle a Golden Bears team coming off a 51-28 league loss to Alamo Heights (San Antonio, TX). The Golden Bears record now stands at 2-11.

The Golden Bears (2-12) will now prepare for their contest against Highlands (San Antonio, TX). The Owls come into the 5A Region IV District 27 contest with a 5-13 record. In their last contest, Highlands was nudged by Sam Houston (San Antonio, TX), 58-57, in a league contest.
