Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Neshannock Lancers (New Castle, PA) and the visiting Ellwood City Wolverine (Ellwood City, PA), saw Neshannock's basketball squad knock off Ellwood City by a count of 62-51.

With the victory, Neshannock upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Armstrong (Kittanning, PA) to play the River Hawks in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 22. The River Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 5-1.

Next up, the Wolverine play the Redbank Valley Bulldogs (New Bethlehem, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 27. Ellwood City will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
