The Firestone Falcons basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting North Vikings to 39 in the Falcons league triumph on Tuesday.
The Falcons now sport a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Copley for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 23. Firestone will meet a Indians team coming off a 67-56 league loss to Tallmadge (Tallmadge, OH). The Indians record now stands at 1-5.
The Vikings (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Liberty (Youngstown, OH). The Leopards enter the non-league contest with a 0-8 record. In their last contest, Liberty was outscored by West Branch (Beloit, OH), 67-27, in a non-league contest.
