Texas High School Basketball - Fort Bend Hightower fells Manvel

December 19, 2023: Manvel, TX 77578

Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes (Missouri City, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Manvel Mavericks (Manvel, TX), 67-58 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fort Bend Hightower upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Hurricanes travel to Fort Bend Clements (Sugar Land, TX) to play the Rangers in a 6A Region III District 20 bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Rangers go into the bout with a record of 14-0. Fort Bend Clements won 62-39 in their recent league bout against Fort Bend Bush (Richmond, TX)

Next up, the Mavericks play the Clear Creek Wildcats (League City, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Manvel will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 15-7 record after their 59-56 non-league win over Friendswood (Friendswood, TX).
