In Tuesday's league outing, the Petersburg Vikings (Petersburg, WV) basketball squad edged the host Frankfort Falcons (Ridgeley, WV), by a margin of 60-56.
The Vikings (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Northern (Accident, MD). The Huskies go into the non-league outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Northern held off Salisbury Elk Lick (Salisbury, PA), 52-30, in a non-league outing.
The Falcons now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Keyser for a Potomac Valley AA outing on Friday, December 22. Frankfort will clash with a Golden Tornado squad coming off a 66-61 non-league loss to Southern (Oakland, MD). The Golden Tornado record now stands at 2-3.
