Silver Fighting Colts (Silver City, NM) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Gadsden Panthers (Anthony, NM), 59-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Silver upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Fighting Colts travel to Clovis (Clovis, NM) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 20. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Clovis won 67-46 in their recent non-league bout against Cibola (Albuquerque, NM)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Goddard Rockets (Roswell, NM) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 4. Gadsden will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record.
