In Tuesday's league outing, the Olton Mustangs (Olton, TX) basketball squad beat the host Hale Center Owls (Hale Center, TX), by a margin of 72-62.
The Mustangs (6-7) will now prepare for their outing against Sudan (Sudan, TX). The Hornets go into the 2A Region I District 4 outing with a 5-2 record. In their last outing, Sudan defeated Ralls (Ralls, TX), 77-48, in a league outing.
The Owls now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Levelland for a non-league outing on Wednesday, December 27. Hale Center will clash with a Lobos squad coming off a 56-44 non-league loss to Jayton (Jayton, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 7-10.
