Ohio High School Basketball - Solon can't hold off Hudson

The Hudson Explorers basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Solon Comets to 58 in the Explorers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Explorers now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Streetsboro for a non-league contest on Friday, December 22. Hudson will battle a Rockets team coming off a 51-44 league loss to Woodridge (Peninsula, OH). The Rockets record now stands at 2-4.

The Comets (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Central Catholic (Toledo, OH). The Fighting Irish enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Central Catholic was nudged by Princeton (Cincinnati, OH), 73-72, in a non-league contest.
