With the win, Van Buren upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Vee Bees host Flushing (Flushing, NY) to play the Red Devils in a PSAL AAA Queens II bout on Wednesday, December 20. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Flushing lost 54-46 in their recent non-league bout against Richmond Hill (Richmond Hill, NY)

Next up, the Beavers play the Springfield Gardens Golden Eagles (Springfield Gardens, NY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 22. Jamaica will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a 5-0 record after their 57-48 non-league win over Bayside (Bayside, NY).
