San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy Eagles (San Angelo, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Jim Ned Indians (Tuscola, TX), 43-37 in a league bout.

With the win, San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Eagles host Grape Creek (San Angelo, TX) to clash with the Eagles in a 3A Region I District 6 bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 4-10. Grape Creek lost 49-34 in their recent league bout against Wall (Wall, TX)

Next up, the Indians clash with the Breckenridge Buckaroos (Breckenridge, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Jim Ned will attempt to upgrade on its 12-4 season record. The Buckaroos go into the bout with a 6-9 record after their 46-43 league win over Comanche (Comanche, TX).
