The Kermit Yellow Jackets (Kermit, TX) basketball felled the host Stanton Buffaloes (Stanton, TX), 55-43 in Tuesday's league test.

The Yellow Jackets (10-5) will now prepare for their test against Presidio (Presidio, TX). The Blue Devils go into the non-league test with a 5-4 record. In their last test, Presidio thwarted Compass Academy (Odessa, TX), 51-30, in a league test.

The Buffaloes now own a 5-11 record. They play next when they travel to Alpine for a 3A Region I District 4 test on Tuesday, January 2.
