Lorena Leopards (Lorena, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting McGregor Bulldogs (McGregor, TX), 59-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Lorena upgrades its record to 9-6 on the season. The Leopards travel to Community (Nevada, TX) to play the Braves in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Braves go into the bout with a record of 2-17. Community lost 60-46 in their recent non-league bout against North Lamar (Paris, TX)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Lago Vista Vikings (Lago Vista, TX) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. McGregor will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 14-3 record after their 42-16 non-league win over Milano (Milano, TX).
