Ohio High School Basketball - Lowellville can't hold off Springfield

The Lowellville Rockets basketball team (Lowellville, OH), was nudged 37-36 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Springfield Tigers (New Middletown, OH)

The Tigers now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Columbiana for a non-league battle on Friday, December 22. Springfield will battle a Clippers team coming off a 54-51 league win over Valley Christian (Youngstown, OH). The Clippers record now stands at 4-1.

The Rockets (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Memorial (Campbell, OH). The Red Devils come into the non-league battle with a 4-2 record.
