In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Madawaska Owls (Madawaska, ME) basketball squad beat the visiting Van Buren Crusaders (Van Buren, ME), by a margin of 53-34.
The Owls (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Hodgdon (Hodgdon, ME). The Hawks go into the C North outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, Hodgdon was topped by Southern Aroostook (Dyer Brook, ME), 54-47, in a non-league outing.
