The Triad Knights basketball team (Troy, IL), was overwhelmed 49-28 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Mascoutah Indians (Mascoutah, IL)
The Indians now possess a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nashville for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 27. Mascoutah will confront a Hornets team coming off a 66-29 non-league win over Okawville (Okawville, IL). The Hornets record now stands at 7-5.
The Knights (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Freeburg (Freeburg, IL). The Midgets come into the non-league battle with a 7-4 record. In their last battle, Freeburg was overwhelmed by Breese Central (Breese, IL), 65-41, in a league battle.
