The Point Pleasant Big Blacks ran past the visiting Ripley Vikings basketball team by a final score of 61-53 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Big Blacks face the Riverside Warriors (Belle, WV) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 29. Point Pleasant will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record.

With the defeat, Ripley moves to 3-2 on the year. The Vikings host Lincoln (Shinnston, WV) to face the Cougars in a non-league game on Friday, December 22. The Cougars enter the game with a record of 1-3. Lincoln lost 54-39 in their recent league game against Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV)
