The Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the visiting Westbrook-Walnut Grove Chargers to 51 in the Knights league victory on Tuesday.

The Knights now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Minneota for a A Section 3 contest on Friday, December 22. Russell-Tyler-Ruthton will battle a Vikings team coming off a 66-52 league win over Lakeview (Cottonwood, MN). The Vikings record now stands at 6-0.

The Chargers (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Murray County Central (Slayton, MN). The Rebels come into the A Section 3 contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Murray County Central triumphed over Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda (Okabena, MN), 77-55, in a league contest.
