The Wayne Warriors basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the visiting Springfield Wildcats to 59 in the Warriors league victory on Tuesday.

The Warriors now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fairmont for a Greater Western Ohio contest on Friday, December 22. Wayne will battle a Firebirds team coming off a 66-50 non-league win over Urbana (Urbana, OH). The Firebirds record now stands at 4-1.

The Wildcats (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Miamisburg (Miamisburg, OH). The Vikings come into the Greater Western Ohio contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Miamisburg was defeated by Beavercreek (Beavercreek, OH), 92-66, in a league contest.
