The Chippewa Valley Big Reds basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the host Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils to 35 in the Big Reds non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Big Reds now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sterling Heights Stevenson for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 4. Chippewa Valley will battle a Titans team coming off a 87-58 non-league loss to Dakota (Macomb, MI). The Titans record now stands at 1-2.

The Blue Devils (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against University of Detroit Jesuit (Detroit, MI). The Cubs come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record.
