O'Dea Fighting Irish (Seattle, WA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Rainier Beach Vikings (Seattle, WA), 59-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, O'Dea upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Fighting Irish host Curtis (University Place, WA) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 20. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Curtis lost 47-27 in their recent non-league bout against Emerald Ridge (South Hill, WA)

Next up, the Vikings clash with the Eastside Catholic Crusaders (Sammamish, WA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Rainier Beach will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record.
