The St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish basketball team (Akron, OH), was nudged 52-51 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host St. Edward Eagles (Lakewood, OH)
The Eagles now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wadsworth for a non-league battle on Friday, December 22.
The Fighting Irish (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against McKinley (Canton, OH). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 5-0 record. In their last battle, McKinley edged Perry (Massillon, OH), 63-25, in a non-league battle.
