Douglas Eagles (Douglas, AL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Albertville Aggies (Albertville, AL), 51-50 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Douglas upgrades its record to 2-11 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Arab (Arab, AL) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 11-2. Arab lost 62-47 in their recent non-league bout against West Point (Cullman, AL)

Next up, the Aggies play the Hewitt-Trussville Huskies (Trussville, AL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. Albertville will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Huskies come into the bout with a 13-4 record after their 55-39 non-league win over Lebanon (Lebanon, TN).
