Georgetown Bulldogs (Georgetown, SC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Andrews Yellowjackets (Andrews, SC), 37-33 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Georgetown upgrades its record to 2-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Latta (Latta, SC) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 2-3. Latta lost 62-35 in their recent non-league bout against Mullins (Mullins, SC)

Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Aynor Blue Jackets (Aynor, SC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Andrews will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Blue Jackets come into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 48-25 non-league loss to Lake View (Lake View, SC).
