The Austin Packers basketball team scored 74 points and restricted the host Faribault Falcons to 37 in the Packers league victory on Tuesday.
The Packers now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Byron for a AAA Section 1 contest on Thursday, December 21. Austin will battle a Bears team coming off a 56-53 non-league loss to Dover-Eyota (Eyota, MN). The Bears record now stands at 3-1.
The Falcons (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, MN). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Belle Plaine was routed by Lester Prairie (Lester Prairie, MN), 60-54, in a non-league contest.
