The Basehor-Linwood Bobcats (Basehor, KS) basketball knocked off the visiting Piper Pirates (Kansas City, KS), 47-34 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Bobcats (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Leavenworth (Leavenworth, KS). The PIONEERS go into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Leavenworth went down by Shawnee Heights (Tecumseh, KS), 39-35, in a non-league test.
The Pirates now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Turner for a United Kansas test on Wednesday, January 3. Piper will encounter a Golden Bears squad coming off a 57-22 non-league loss to West (Topeka, KS). The Golden Bears record now stands at 1-3.
