The West Essex Knights (North Caldwell, NJ) basketball felled the visiting Bloomfield Bengals (Bloomfield, NJ), 43-34 in Tuesday's league test.
The Knights (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Nutley (Nutley, NJ). The Maroon Raiders go into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Nutley was beaten by Glen Ridge (Glen Ridge, NJ), 50-33, in a non-league test.
The Bengals now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Cedar Grove for a non-league test on Thursday, January 4.
