The Brookland Bearcats basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Westside Warriors to 36 in the Bearcats league victory on Tuesday.
The Bearcats now sport a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Searcy for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Brookland will battle a Lions team coming off a 60-38 non-league win over Sylvan Hills (Sherwood, AR). The Lions record now stands at 8-3.
The Warriors (10-4) will now prepare for their contest against Tuckerman (Tuckerman, AR). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 7-8 record. In their last contest, Tuckerman was defeated by Melbourne (Melbourne, AR), 56-28, in a league contest.
