Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Carlsbad Cavemen (Carlsbad, NM) and the visiting Goddard Rockets (Roswell, NM), saw Carlsbad's basketball squad wallop Goddard by a tally of 39-11.
With the victory, Carlsbad improves its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Cavemen host Artesia (Artesia, NM) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 3-2.
Next up, the Rockets confront the Roswell Coyotes (Roswell, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 21. Goddard will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 45-42 non-league loss to Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM).
