North Carolina High School Basketball - Lake Norman Charter thwarts Carson

December 19, 2023: Huntersville, NC 28078

The Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC), 39-25 in Tuesday's league contest.

The Knights now sport a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Lincoln for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 27. Lake Norman Charter will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 59-48 non-league loss to Hibriten (Lenoir, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-1.

The Cougars (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC). The Wonders enter the non-league contest with a 6-0 record. In their last contest, A.L. Brown ran past Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC), 47-26, in a non-league contest.
