Centerpoint Knights (Amity, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Harmony Grove Cardinals (Benton, AR), 45-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Centerpoint upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Knights travel to Fouke (Fouke, AR) to clash with the Panthers in a 3A Region 7 bout on Thursday, December 21. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 14-0. Fouke won 58-46 in their recent league bout against Bismarck (Bismarck, AR)

Next up, the Cardinals clash with the Fouke Panthers (Fouke, AR) in a 3A Region 7 bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Harmony Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 15-0 record after their 52-29 league win over Centerpoint (Amity, AR).
