The Cheltenham Panthers basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Springfield Township Spartans to 56 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Panthers now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jenkintown for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 20. Cheltenham will meet a Drakes team coming off a 33-29 league win over Delaware County Christian (Newtown Square, PA). The Drakes record now stands at 4-3.

The Spartans (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Upper Dublin (Fort Washington, PA). The Cardinals enter the Suburban One - Liberty contest with a 7-0 record. In their last contest, Upper Dublin ran past Hatboro-Horsham (Horsham, PA), 65-22, in a league contest.
