The Meridian Wildcats (Meridian, MS) basketball knocked off the visiting Columbus Falcons (Columbus, MS), 41-32 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (6-5) will now prepare for their test against McComb (McComb, MS). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 3-6 record.
The Falcons now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they host Neshoba Central for a 6A Region 2 test on Friday, December 22. Columbus will encounter a Rockets squad coming off a 71-8 non-league win over Noxubee County (Macon, MS). The Rockets record now stands at 13-1.
