The Concordia Academy Beacons basketball team (Roseville, MN), was nudged 61-56 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host New Life Academy Eagles (Woodbury, MN)
The Eagles now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cristo Rey Jesuit for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 3. New Life Academy will battle a team coming off a 73-16 non-league loss to St. Agnes (St. Paul, MN). The record now stands at 0-7.
The Beacons (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Simley (Inver Grove Heights, MN). The Spartans come into the non-league battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Simley edged Columbia Heights (Columbia Heights, MN), 52-19, in a non-league battle.
