With the win, Curry upgrades its record to 5-8 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to Oakman (Oakman, AL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 0-10.

Next up, the Yellow Jackets play the Carbon Hill Bulldogs (Carbon Hill, AL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 4. Corner will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record.
