New York High School Basketball - Cornwall Central knocked off by Valley Central

The Valley Central Vikings basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Cornwall Central Dragons to 46 in the Vikings league triumph on Tuesday.
The Vikings now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Goshen Central for a non-league contest on Friday, December 22. Valley Central will meet a Gladiators team coming off a 50-33 non-league win over Monticello (Monticello, NY). The Gladiators record now stands at 1-3.
The Dragons (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Washingtonville (Washingtonville, NY). The Wizards enter the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Washingtonville was defeated by Minisink Valley (Slate Hill, NY), 51-39, in a league contest.
