The Creekview Mustangs (Carrollton, TX) basketball nipped the host The Colony Cougars (The Colony, TX), 47-42 in Tuesday's league test.

The Mustangs (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Frisco (Frisco, TX). The Raccoons go into the 5A Region II District 9 test with a 3-12 record. In their last test, Frisco was tipped by Lone Star (Frisco, TX), 57-40, in a league test.

The Cougars now own a 8-10 record. They play next when they travel to Ryan for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 27. The Colony will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 44-19 league win over Grapevine (Grapevine, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 16-4.
