The Crest Chargers basketball team (Shelby, NC), was nudged 50-49 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Huss Huskies (Gastonia, NC)

The Huskies now possess a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Easley for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 21. Huss will confront a Green Wave team coming off a 78-34 non-league win over Seneca (Seneca, SC). The Green Wave record now stands at 3-7.

The Chargers (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Shelby (Shelby, NC). The Golden Lions come into the non-league battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Shelby was nudged by Watauga (Boone, NC), 66-13, in a non-league battle.
