The Stevens Point Panthers basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the visiting D.C. Everest Evergreens to 28 in the Panthers league victory on Tuesday.

The Panthers now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chippewa Falls for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 21. Stevens Point will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 46-37 league loss to River Falls (River Falls, WI). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-9.

Next up, the Evergreens play the Wittenberg-Birnamwood Chargers (Wittenberg, WI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 21. D.C. Everest will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 8-1 record after their 66-51 league win over Menominee Indian (Keshena, WI).
