Tenaha Tigers (Tenaha, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Gary Bobcats (Gary, TX), 73-16 in a league bout.

With the victory, Tenaha upgrades its record to 18-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Cooper (Cooper, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 8-8. Cooper won 66-32 in their recent league bout against North Hopkins (Sulphur Springs, TX)

Next up, the Bobcats play the Garrison Bulldogs (Garrison, TX) in a 2A Region III District 23 bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Gary will attempt to upgrade on its 9-13 season record.
