Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Thrall Tigers (Thrall, TX) and the host Granger Lions (Granger, TX), saw Thrall's basketball squad overcome Granger by a tally of 56-37.

With the victory, Thrall improves its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Holland (Holland, TX) to play the Hornets in a 2A Region IV District 27 challenge on Friday, January 5. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 7-7.

Next up, the Lions play the Mumford Mustangs (Mumford, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 28. Granger will attempt to improve on its 5-16 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 56-51 non-league win over Aggieland HomeSchool (College Station, TX).
