Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Guy-Perkins Thunderbirds (Guy, AR) and the visiting Scranton Rockets (Scranton, AR), saw Guy-Perkins's basketball squad wallop Scranton by a count of 48-24.

With the victory, Guy-Perkins upgrades its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds host Arkansas School for the Deaf (Little Rock, AR) to play the Leopards in a 1A Region 4 challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Leopards come into the challenge with a record of 5-4. Arkansas School for the Deaf lost 57-18 in their recent league challenge against Wonderview (Hattieville, AR)

Next up, the Rockets play the Two Rivers Gators (Ola, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 21. Scranton will attempt to upgrade on its 13-7 season record. The Gators come into the challenge with a 12-2 record after their 57-44 league win over Cedarville (Cedarville, AR).
