Hale Center Owls (Hale Center, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Olton Mustangs (Olton, TX), 58-21 in a league bout.

With the victory, Hale Center upgrades its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Owls travel to Tulia (Tulia, TX) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 1-8. Tulia lost 52-36 in their recent non-league bout against Sunray (Sunray, TX)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Levelland Lobos (Levelland, TX) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. Olton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Lobos come into the bout with a 19-1 record after their 56-26 non-league win over Odessa (Odessa, TX).
