In Tuesday's league outing, the Maple River Eagles (Mapleton, MN) basketball squad beat the visiting Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton Bulldogs (Janesville, MN), by a margin of 61-50.

The Eagles (11-6) will now prepare for their outing against Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial (Lake Crystal, MN). The Knights come into the AA Section 2 bout with a 5-3 record. In their last bout, Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial was knocked off by Fairmont (Fairmont, MN), 51-47, in a non-league bout.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Sibley East Wolverines (Arlington, MN) in a AA Section 2 bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record.
