The Summit Hilltoppers (Summit, NJ) basketball nipped the visiting Johnson Crusaders (Clark, NJ), 39-32 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Hilltoppers (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Hillside (Hillside, NJ). The Comets go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Hillside got by Shabazz (Newark, NJ), 60-27, in a non-league test.

The Crusaders now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Dayton for a non-league test on Thursday, December 21. Johnson will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 56-52 non-league win over Union Catholic (Scotch Plains, NJ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-2.
