The Litchfield Cowboys (Litchfield, CT) basketball nipped the visiting Terryville Kangaroos (Terryville, CT), 27-25 in Tuesday's league test.
The Cowboys (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Nonnewaug (Woodbury, CT). The Chiefs go into the Berkshire test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Nonnewaug got by Naugatuck (Naugatuck, CT), 48-45, in a non-league test.
The Kangaroos now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Northwestern Regional for a Berkshire test on Friday, December 22. Terryville will encounter a Highlanders squad coming off a 47-37 league loss to Thomaston (Thomaston, CT). The Highlanders record now stands at 2-1.
