With the victory, Marlin improves its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Hubbard (Hubbard, TX) to play the Jaguars in a 2A Region III District 18 challenge on Saturday, December 30. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 4-10. Hubbard lost 38-23 in their recent league challenge against Dawson (Dawson, TX)

Next up, the Indians play the Wortham Bulldogs (Wortham, TX) in a 2A Region III District 18 challenge, on Friday, December 29. Riesel will attempt to improve on its 13-4 season record.
