Mountain Heritage Cougars (Burnsville, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Rosman Tigers (Rosman, NC), 58-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Mountain Heritage upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Cougars host West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 7-0. West Henderson won 67-36 in their recent league bout against East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Asheville Christian Academy Lions (Swannanoa, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. Rosman will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 3-7 record after their 69-36 non-league loss to High Point Christian Academy (High Point, NC).
