Texas High School Basketball - Reedy fells Newman Smith

Reedy Lions (Frisco, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Newman Smith Trojans (Carrollton, TX), 54-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Reedy upgrades its record to 12-6 on the season. The Lions host Lone Star (Frisco, TX) to play the Rangers in a 5A Region II District 9 bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Rangers go into the bout with a record of 6-12. Lone Star lost 57-55 in their recent league bout against Wakeland (Frisco, TX)

Next up, the Trojans confront the The Colony Cougars (The Colony, TX) in a 5A Region II District 9 challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Newman Smith will attempt to improve on its 8-8 season record.
