The Okeene Whippets basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Pioneer-Pleasant Vale Mustangs to 25 in the Whippets non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Whippets now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lomega for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 2. Okeene will battle a Raiders team coming off a 83-51 league win over Cherokee (Cherokee, OK). The Raiders record now stands at 10-1.

The Mustangs (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Timberlake (Helena, OK). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Timberlake triumphed over Ringwood (Ringwood, OK), 49-24, in a league contest.
