Staunton Storm (Staunton, VA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Waynesboro Little Giants (Waynesboro, VA), 64-58 in a league bout.

With the victory, Staunton upgrades its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Storm host Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, VA) to play the Blue Streaks in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Blue Streaks come into the bout with a record of 5-2. Harrisonburg won 51-37 in their recent league bout against Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA)

Next up, the Little Giants play the James River Knights (Buchanan, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Waynesboro will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record.
